Yes, I am the new official green spoksperson of the state of CT...the job came with an organic cotton, invisible, emission-free airplane and everything. ;)
Seriously, a frind of my hubby's asked if I could come out to their church to talk about ways to become more environmentally friendly. Becoming more green is a goal of the Methodist Church.
I said "yes" and drove over to Hartford last Tuesday night. There were maybe 30 friendly people in attendance at the talk. Everyone was really sweet and eased me into my first time talking to a group of people over the age of eight.
